Véro & Antonio are a French and Spanish couple who are passionate foodies, like many of us they fell in love with Lanzarote on their first visit. The couple previously lived in Paris, their crazy dream to give up their stressful lives and live in paradise is now a reality and Cook in Lanzarote was created. Antonio trained at the Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon to become a professional chef and he’s a master at his family’s traditional Spanish recipes. Véro is a marketing professional, between them they have a winning formula to make a great success of this unique food experience in Lanzarote.

HELA Pet Crematorium in Lanzarote

The first pet crematorium in the island will be operational shortly.

The only legal option to deal with a deceased pet until now was to leave your vet to organise with disposing of the pet's remains and our understanding is that they end up in the dump. Burying them in a field or even in your private garden is apparently illegal! If any one wanted to have their pet cremated the nearest place they would do it was in Las Palmas.

This has now changed thanks to two young entrepreneurs from Lanzarote Juan Reguilón Sainz and Eduardo González Miranda who had been considering the idea of this much needed service for the last few years. A couple of years ago they sat and looked at the figures more seriously. Finally the actual setting up of the business started in August last year and after a lot of planning and red-tape they are pretty much ready to roll it out.   read more »

Lanzarote Restaurant Review, MargheRita
