Shearwaters Returned To Natural Habitat

In a Cabildo sponsored campaign, more than 2014 shearwaters have been returned to their natural habitat in La Graciosa and Famara. The young birds had all been inured attempting their first flights, and after a period of rehabilitation, were successfully returned to their nesting areas.

The 6th edition of the gastronomy event, Semana de La Mini Tapa takes place in Tías, Lanzarote from the 11th to 18th November 2016.

Tourists and residents are encouraged to visit Tías during the event, which involves visiting participating cafe bars and restaurants to taste their tapa and vote for your favourite.

Other businesses in the Zona Comercial Abierta de Tías have supported the event by offering discounted shopping and prizes.
