The weekend of this year’s Wine Run in Lanzarote has been confirmed as the 17th & 18th of June 2017.
The full event programme has yet to be confirmed, however registration for the run opens today at 16:00.
The Wine Run Lanzarote appeals to runners and walkers of all fitness levels and is a really popular event in the sporting calendar for the island. The run is a tough 23km course through the wine region of Lanzarote, with wine & water aid stations along the way. The walk covers approximately 12km of the same route, once the runners have passed through, and is a leisurely stroll through the countryside, tasting our local wines as you go.
There’s a gastronomy event combined with the race, making this a fun weekend to be staying in Lanzarote. The run is normally held on the Sunday morning, so race day is the 18th June.
The food event is normally the Saturday evening before and Sunday afternoon after. The start and finish lines alternate between Mancha Blanca and Uga each year, with a slight variation on run course.
