We are regularly searching for great Wifi places in Lanzarote to grab lunch whilst we have a quick surf online. This is the first in a new series of articles where we’ll share our experience of the food and WiFi internet service to be found in Lanzarote.
Cafeteria Colisseum caught our eye when we were passing the Biosfera shopping centre in Puerto del Carmen, situated on the street level there is a clear sign on the premises outside that they offer WiFi.
There is a great sunny terrace here with views and most clients head for this area, we wanted the shade and comfort of inside where there was a pleasing cool breeze blowing through. Run by Italians the service is attentive and very helpful, I had forgotten to charge my notebook but it was no problem to find a plug for a quick charge. There were some lovely options on the menu with a choice of Panini's, crepes, sandwiches, pastries, beef burgers priced between 3-5 Euros I settled on a salmon and Philadelphia cheese Panini and Miguel ordered the roast beef one.
The WiFi signal is password protected but our waiter gave us the code and we were online without any issues, the signal was good and didn’t drop during our surf.
Our food arrived, the Panini's were delicious, Miguel said his cappuccino was fabulous as Italian coffee always is. We had to restrain ourselves from tucking into the delicious range of cakes and icecreams on offer and left for our next appointment.
Highly recommended as a WiFi hotspot in our opinion.
