Due to popular request here is a weather forecast for all of you Christmas arrivals jet setting in for some winter sunshine – its a mixed report so don’t shoot the messenger! These forecasts are for the next 5-7 days taking us up to Christmas Eve. According to the BBC weather forecast – which is usually quite accurate its a lovely sunny week with 24 degrees from the 17th December for 4 days, still warm on Monday but maybe light showers too: According to Aemet weather forecast – although we don’t have an orange / yellow rain alert like the other half of the Canary Islands they are showing the same temperatures but some cloud and showers up to the 23rd December. Finally Windguru is saying that the temperature is lower 20-21 with rain (lluvia) on Monday and Tuesday. The weather here changes on a Thursday, don’t ask my why but it does (main arrival / departure day), we’ve had such a great couple of months of weather it was bound to break sooner or later, its worth mentioning that being an island you can normally find good weather on one side or end of it and also having just had a changeable week I would hope that the normal sunny weather is back any day now. If you all remember to pack a light raincoat and umbrella you won’t need them – isn’t that how it works? So remember we’re relying on you all to bring your wet weather gear as well as your bikini’s and sun tan lotion – don’t let us down!! Seriously I think the weather is going to be a bit of a mix for the next few days, it is warm and there are big patches of blue sky, we have been having showers but I’m planning a day on the beach for Christmas day so it’s going to be nice! |
