The resort of Costa Teguise in Lanzarote is in the middle of preparing for a special week of events from the 24th to 30th September to celebrate World Tourism Day.

Events planned include an open air screening of the film Broken Embraces which was filmed in Lanzarote, as well as a 2 day Rock & Blues Festival. We’ve already published details of the photography contest which is also included. The events are centred around the area of Pueblo Marinero in Costa Teguise,  other than the book presentation in La Villa de Teguise. Bands performing in the Rock & Blues Festival include Medio almud, África United, No limit, Treintaytantos, Meat Shampoo, Dieguito Bluesman, Arsénico, Franquis Team, & Dave Hanssen.
