The island of Lanzarote has blossomed, there are wild flowers along the roadsides, covering the pícon and volcanic landscapes and transforming them into fields of yellow, white, blue and red….Spring has arrived! Máguez has an abundance of big beautiful daisies. San Bartolomé has a vibrant red field full of poppies. These flowers were found on a short walk from Mala down to the coast at Charco del Palo, even the dry sandy soils are blooming with a variety of plants, all different colours, shapes and sizes. If you’re visiting the island in the winter and spring months take a walk into the countryside, Lanzarote is not barren but beautiful and blooming! We have some fantastic images you can download for members of Club Lanza Info |
