We were lucky enough to spend a long weekend at The Princesa Yaiza, which is near to Marina Rubicon in Playa Blanca, and we were upgraded to a suite, which was fabulous!
Accommodation is available in really large double bedrooms, junior suites and a selection of larger suites which go right up to the magnificent Royal Suite.
All of the rooms are sumptuously furnished, with magnificent bathrooms and all either face the pool or the sea.
The hotel is designed with gorgeous internal gardens which create and open, breezy, but shaded area to all public corridors and rooms.
There are four swimming pools, a Jacuzzi area, several boutique shops and a terrific gym for guests. Within the grounds there are tennis and padel courts, and the whole Hotel backs onto Playa Dorada beach, one of Playa Blanca's finest.
There are no less than five restaurants in the hotel, the renowned A La Carte Los Lobos restaurant, and others which cater for speciality tastes including Mexican, Italian and Japanese. In the latter we enjoyed splendid Teriyaki beef prepared and cooked right at the table.
In summary, The Princesa Yaiza is a wonderful place to stay and offers a level of sophistication which is new to Lanzarote, but part of the Playa Blanca offering.
