Flower Power, the garden centre in Mácher has a stock of pine trees available but if you want one you need to put your name down quick as they’re selling out fast.

The Spanish traditional flower at Christmas are poinsettias and they don’t just come in red, Flower Power has a fantastic choice of varieties available from the winter rose to 1m poinsettia bushes. These plants really thrive in Lanzarote so if you buy one for the home or receive one as a gift, plant it outside in January and you’ll have one in the garden too for next year.
