Motor sports enthusiasts beware! The Canary Islands stage of the Rallye de Tierra comes to Lanzarote for an intense two day event on the 18th and 19th September 2010.
There are 7 events in the Rallyes Tierra Campeonato de España 2010 calendar, two of them are in Lanzarote on consecutive days before the final stage in Coruña.
The full details of the course are being kept under wraps, only the total amount of kilometers are known together with the number of timed sections and that the event will be based in the municipality of Teguise. Six of the seven municipalities will be covered during the event, San Bartolomé did not want to participate.
Inscription is open until Wednesday 8th September. Race centre will be based at the Complejo Agroindustrial in Teguise. Both Saturday and Sunday have the same total of kilometers which is 272.19 km with 81.30 km timed during 8 sections per day. It is unknown at the moment if the second stage will be a repeat of day one or in the opposite direction.
