A Quick Guide to New and Secondhand Markets in Lanzarote

Lanzarote has some great local markets, some offer fresh produce (such as cheese, wine, fruit & vegetables), some have arts & crafts (such as paintings, pottery, handmade clothes and jewellery) and one really, big huge one offering everything! As Lanzarote also has a large number of expats in residence, there are also some interesting monthly second hand markets too. Here’s our quick guide as to what’s on and where in Lanzarote:

Teguise Market 9am to 2pm – Huge market selling everything, arts, jewellery, clothes, hats, bags, tablecloths, wine, household, shoes etc etc.

Uga Market, 10am to 2pm - Local produce and crafts

Original PALS car boot sale, Lanzarote a Caballo 10 to 2pm.

Monthly:

Antiques Auction, Tina’s, C/Otilia Arrecife 6pm, on the first of each month

Haría secondhand market, 4.30 to 8.30pm, on the first Sunday of each month

SARA car boot sale, Tahiche Garden Centre 9.30am to 2pm, on the second Saturday of each month

New Weekly Market in Uga

A new weekend market has been announced for Uga, the first one was Saturday 23rd May and it is situated next to the church in the town. The Municipal Market will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 2pm each weekend. There will be local produce such as cheese, yoghurt, fruit, vegetables, wine and sweets as well as local artisan crafts.
