From Monday the 14th September the Ayuntamiento de Teguise and the Cabildo de Lanzarote have organised a new bus route to connect the resort of Costa Teguise (Playa Bastian) with Famara. The new line will run every two hours from 7:30am to 9:30 pm. The new service will be run by Arrecife Bus and is aimed at taking residents and tourists between the two zones.
The bus will collect passengers at Playa Bastian, then head up past the Golf Course to Tahiche, Nazaret, Teguise and on to Famara. The new route connects the resort of Costa Teguise with its municipality of Teguise and the fabulous surfing beach of Famara which is great news for both the residents and tourists.
hi i just wanted to know if there are other markets that are not tourist markets.also the new bus route to famara is this just a little villiage.and teguise is this where the market is on sunday mornings.also what is the fare please.could you also tell me the fare from arricife to playa blanca and the number thank you kath
Most of our markets are visited by tourists so it's difficult to say which ones aren't "tourist" markets. Personally I like the smaller artisan and local produce ones such as Haría on a Saturday morning. The Teguise market is huge that is a tourist market but within there are art, craft and local produce stalls too. The bus information can be found on the website www.arrecifebus.com which also has an English version.
Hi, I'm having problems
Hi,
I'm having problems viewing your site using the Opera browser, for some reason the font is very small (almost unreadable) Any ideas why?
Many thanks
