Earlier in the year the results of the Miss España competition was announced and both of our Canary Islands entrants from Las Palmas and Tenerife were placed in the top ten, Estíbaliz Pereira from Coruña was voted Miss España 09.
It was announced this week that the Mister España event will be held in Lanzarote on the 28th November 2009. The event is being hosted at the Princesa Yaiza Hotel in Playa Blanca, the 52 contestants will arrive on the 23rd November to stay at the hotel and explore the island of Lanzarote prior to the gala event on the 28th.
You can see the male contestants on the Miss & Mister España site and vote for your favourite candidate by texting to 7442 with the word MISTER (space) & the province represented, it costs €1.20 per vote. Our local men representing the Canary Islands are Mister Las Palmas – Fernando Santana & Mister Tenerife – Alexis Díaz.

It’s fantastic news for Lanzarote that this highly publicised event with entrants from every province of Spain is going to be held on the island, what a week that’s going to be with 52 young, gorgeous Spanish men enjoying the life in Lanzarote!
