I stumbled upon this market on a weekday whilst visiting Arrecife in early December, I can’t find any information that confirms when the market is held but it was a pleasant surprise!
Yes, there were a lot of the usual stalls but also some different ones, it was an enjoyable walk around El Charco or “the puddle” as it translates to, these stall holders weren’t pushy, they were happy for you to have a look and wander on by.
I visited the above market on a Wednesday but noticed another local report saying they had been on a Friday, so if you know the details of when its actually on, please can can you post a comment! You could combine a visit to this market with the La Recova Market held Monday - Saturday and situated to the side of El Charco before you reach Calle Real the pedestrian shopping street in the centre of Arrecife or stop for tapas at the Museo del Vino.
