The Double Six is an advertiser on this site, but that doesn’t stop us visiting them to do a review!
We called in for lunch one day last week, and enjoyed a fabulous meal there. I can honestly say the chips are like chips from an English chip shop. Tasty, crunchy outside, and soft inside!
We’ve tried the excellent fish before, so we went with something different. Jules had a steak pie with gravy, and I had a doner kebab with all the trimmings. Both were excellent, freshly cooked and served with the delicious chips.
The service was spot on – attentive and fast, and the whole place has a happy, relaxed atmosphere. If you’ve been on the island for some time, or even if you’re on holiday, if you fancy the taste of proper British chips, I can’t think of anywhere better to go on Lanzarote.
We didn’t throw a Double Six to get our meal free, but there’s always next time!
