The Arrecife bus station is called Estación de Guaguas and situated on the Ví­a Medular. The Arrecife bus station telephone number is 928 811 522 and answered from 8am to 8pm.

Here are the details on the main lines connecting the resorts, these times are based on weekdays, please check their website for weekend and fiesta schedules.

Arrecife to Playa Blanca

Starts from Arrecife at 6am in the morning from the bus station (línea 06) there are numerous stops along the route which follows Playa Honda, Tìas, Biosfera in PDC, Macher, Puerto Calero, Uga, Yaiza and Las Breñas before reaching the bus station in Playa Blanca. There are lots of departures from Arrecife 6am, 8.10am, 9.15am, 10.15am, 11.15am, 12.15, 2pm, 3.15pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm.

The other route (lí­nea 08) is shorter, it doesn't go to Puerto del Carmen, Puerto Calero, Uga or Las Breñas, the first bus starts at 7am, then 8.30am, 1pm and 7.30pm.

There is a bus leaving Arrecife every hour until the last one at 9.30pm.

Playa Blanca to Arrecife departs 7am, 7.45am, 9.15am, 9.30am, 10.30am, 11.45am, 12.45, 1.30pm, 2pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm, 5.15pm, 6.15pm, 7.45pm, 8.30pm, 9.30pm & 10.30pm.

Arrecife to Costa Teguise

This is a very frequent route (línea 01), basically a bus leaves the station in Arrecife on the hour, 20 minutes past and 40 minutes past the hour from 8am until 8pm. There are a couple of earlier buses before 8am and they run at least once an hour right through the night.

There are stops along the Avenida Islas Canarias and Avenida del Mar in Costa Teguise heading into Arrecife. Leaving on the hour, 20 minutes past and 40 minutes past from the Hotel Gran Melia Salinas.

Arrecife to Puerto del Carmen

Again a very frequent route (línea 02) this runs the same as the Costa Teguise bus but from 7am to 9pm the buses run on the hour, every 20 minutes past and 40 minutes past. There is a bus once an hour through the night and early morning.

The bus stops at El Reducto beach, Playa Honda and then has stops through Matagorda and Puerto del Carmen, the Biosfera is the next to last stop. Leaving to return back to Arrecife on the hour, 20 minutes past and 40 minutes past.

Costa Teguise - Puerto del Carmen & Puerto del Carmen - Costa Teguise

This route (lí­nea 03) is the same as the Arrecife to Costa Teguise and Arrecife to Puerto del Carmen lines, they leave both destinations on the hour, 20 minutes past and 40 minutes past, simply stay on the bus in Arrecife to continue to the next resort.

Puerto del Carmen - Playa Blanca & Playa Blanca - Puerto del Carmen

Catch the línea 06 bus from Arrecife to Playa Blanca outside the C.C. Biosfera shopping centre at 6.26am, 8.38am, 9.46am, 10.44am, 11.45am, 12.48, 2.31pm, 3.47pm, 4.22pm, 5.27pm, 6.59pm, 8.54pm, 9.56pm.

Playa Blanca to Arrecife via Puerto del Carmen departs 7am, 7.45am, 9.15am, 9.30am, 10.30am, 11.45am, 12.45, 1.30pm, 2pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm, 5.15pm, 6.15pm, 7.45pm, 8.30pm, 9.30pm & 10.30pm.

Lots of tourists use the buses, if you don't fancy hiring a car or paying to join excursions then hop on one of the local buses. Please take change or a maximum of a €10 note for your fare.
