La_Bocaina_La Bocaina Restaurant is situated on the roundabout at the entrance to Playa Blanca and has been owned by Nina and Paul Ecob since 2006. La Bocaina RestaurantThis restaurant is well known in the area offering a modern European fine dining experience with their menu and daily specials.

There are two sittings for Christmas Day but be quick as the second sitting is now fully booked! For the first sitting the doors open at midday and you will be greeted with a Kir Royale and sit down at 1pm for the traditional Christmas lunch, please download the full menu below but here’s a hint at what’s on offer. Priced at €60 per adult and €30 for children under 12.

La_Bocaina_Restaurant_Christmas_Day_Menu Appetisers: Homemade celery soup with a hint of stilton, salmon & prawn timbale, asparagus and bacon terrine or spinach and mushroom tart

Intermediate Course: Champagne sorbet

Main Course: Choice of roast turkey, monk fish, steak pie or ratatouille & goats cheese gratin all served with roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, carrots, brussel sprouts and honey roasted parsnips

Desserts: Christmas pudding, key lime pie, poached pear or a selection of ice creams & sorbets

On New Year’s Eve there is a special menu (download below) including a glass of Kir Royale on arrival followed by a 5 course meal and not forgetting the Spanish tradition of 12 grapes at midnight. There will be entertainment from singer Craig Andrews and the restaurant is ideally placed to enjoy the view of the celebratory fireworks. The menu is priced at €75 per head.

Intermediate Course: A chilled palette refresher of melon and strawberry soups

Main Courses: A choice of lobster thermidor, fillet steak, stuffed chicken or Falafel all accompanied with minted new potatoes, roasted potatoes, carrots in dill, buttered leeks and green beans sautéed in garlic

Desserts: Pavlova, B52 chocolate mousse, treacle tart or selection of ice creams & sorbets
