Islas Canarias Santa Pro, 1st - 7th November 2009

Islas Canarias Santa Pro 2009 Surf’s up in the first week of November, the major surfing event Santa Pro returns to Lanzarote for the third time from the 1st to 7th November 2009.

The event Islas Canarias Santa Pro 6-Star Prime is taking place at playa San Juan in Famara, registration is now open and already 66 of the best surfers in the world have entered. If you'd like to compete you need to register your subscription by email to santa@lasantasurf.es with your name, date of birth, address and DNI.

This year the event has a programme of activities as well as surfing, there will be a skatepark, skating competition and beach football championship.

The current top five European surfers in the ASP world qualifying series (WQS) are:
Joan Duru (FRA), 12050 pts
Glenn Hall (IRL), 11200 pts
Gony Zubizarreta (ESP), 10351 pts
Romain Cloitre (REU), 9913 pts
Jonathan Gonzalez (CNY), 8975 pts
