I Tinajo Bocata Tour 2015

"Bocata" is the Spanish slang for "bocadillo" which means sandwich. The local Council of Tinajo have decided to organise a contest "I Tinajo Bocata Tour 2015" in collaboration with establishments from the municipality to choose their best "bocata".

I Tinajo Bocata Tour

The idea is simple: you need to try at least 5 of the 12 participating "bocatas" which have a cost of between €3.50 and 5€, a price that includes a drink. You get your card stamped every time you taste one of them and at the end you can choose which one is your favourite.

The card can be downloaded here bocata.pdf or it can be obtained directly from any of the participating establishments, which are: Restaurante Tinguatón, Las Malvas Bar Cafetería, Bar La Luchada, Bar el Callao, Restaurante Casa Ignacio, Bar Tabayba, Cafetería La Sociedad, Pura Vida Arte y Café, Burger Pizza El Sitio, Bar tapas el Quemado, Bar el Barquillo and Bistro Bar Yemaya.

You have time to taste any of these very affordable sandwiches and burgers as the offer starts on the 15th and finishes on the the 30th of December 2015.

Completed cards must be handed into Tinajo's "Casa de la Cultura" before 8:30am on the 4th of January 2016, when the votes will be counted and the winner of the first Tinajo "Bocata" Tour will be announced.

And if these "bocatas" aren´t reward enough, your voting card will enter the draw of a weekend for two at Club La Santa.

That’s not bad at all. Tinajo, here I come!
