Lanzarote Information

The Lanzarote Bay aparthotel in Costa Teguise was awarded the Q Calidad Turística certificate at the beginning of February 09. This award is a standard from the Instituto para la Calidad Hotelera Española (ICTE) and presented on behalf of the Palace of Congress in Madrid, the second one for the Hotetur group of hotels demonstrating their commitment to quality accommodation.

The certificate is based on recognition of three aspects, that the hotel has:

* good management and systems in place
* is in top condition, with modern facilities
* staff that are well trained and focused on good customer service

The Lanzarote Bay Hotel was completely renovated in June 2008. It has 200 apartments, each one can sleep a maximum of 3 adults and 1 child, the accommodation is air conditioned and has a bedroom with twin beds, lounge with sofa double bed, satellite TV and dining table, kitchenette, terrace with outdoor furniture.
If you prefer not to self cater there is a choice of bars and restaurants both on site and in the immediate area. The local beach is Playa Bastian and 300m away.

Leisure facilities at the hotel include two communal pools one for adults and the other for children, tennis courts, gym, ball court for football and basket ball. There is also table tennis, billiards, archery and water polo. If you fancy something more relaxing, try the spa which offers a choice of Jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish baths. For those needing to keep in touch, there is a wifi area in reception for guests.
