Next week The Horizon Singers present their summer concert in Yaiza, at the Casa de la Cultura Benito Perez Armas. The singers will be performing songs from stage and screen and there will be a special guest appearance by violinist Iya Zhmaeva.
It’s a chance to enjoy songs from Abba, Rodgers and Hammerstein, The Phantom of the Opera and others, as well as a couple of special comedy numbers. Doors open at 1930 for a 2000 start on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th July 2009.
Entrance is just €5 and includes a glass of Sangria, and you can buy tickets at any of The Bookswaps in Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca or at The Book Shop in Costa Teguise. Everybody is welcome, so if you’re a resident or here on holiday, why not make a night of it?
