Most tourists will flock to Playa Blanca to watch the carnival this weekend, the locals will be heading to Haría for the parade in this traditional municipality town.
The theme for the carnival in Haría is Feria Cordobesa so think of flamenco and Andalusia for your costumes if you want to join in.

Friday 22nd February
21:00 Opening ceremony for the Feria Cordobesa en el Valle de Haría followed by a Verbena Popular with live performances from Banda Nueva & Güira Latina in the Plaza of Haría
Saturday 23rd February
13:00 Murgas performance including Las Intoxicadas, Los Tabletuos, Los Desahuciados de Lanzarote, Los Gambusinos de Fuerteventura & Los Serenquenquenes de Gran Canaria in the Plaza de Haría during the weekly craft market
15:00 Verbena de Día with group Güira Latina in the Plaza de Haría
18:30 Gran Coso carnavelero with the parade leaving from the car park by the cemetery
22:00 Gran Verbena Popular with groups Banda Nueva & Rika Banda in the Plaza of Haría
Sunday 24th February
17:00 Pasacalles (parade) leaving from the football stadium accompanied by batucada for the quema de “La Sardinita” (bonfire) and a grand spectacular from Monsthel High in the Plaza of Haría
