Six graffiti artists launch their exhibition at the church, Ermita de San Antonio in the centre of Tías, Lanzarote tomorrow evening. With the promise of free cold beer, dj’s and a chance to see British artist Rowan Newton in action this promises to be a popular opening night.
The project “Vamos, esto va de ilustración” has the objective of seeking recognition for street art, the exhibition in Lanzarote features the following young artists from Spain and Brazil:
British graffiti artist Rowan Newton will be at the inauguration of this exhibition where you can watch him create a new piece of art as well as browse the exhibits, drink Heineken and listen to the dj’s.
Inauguration: Thursday 16th June 2011 from 20:30 – 23:30
Exhibition: From Friday 17th June to Saturday 23rd July 2011. Open from Monday to Friday 17:00 – 20:00 and Saturday 11:00 – 13:00.
Venue: Salas de Exposiciones la Ermita de San Antonio, Avenida Central, Tías, Lanzarote.
