Lanzarote Information

According to the Echo News on Friday 7th January 2011, three sex offenders have fled abroad from Essex and one of them is in Lanzarote.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Johnson said that they could not identify the man as it would breach his human rights. It also appears that they are not going to be requesting a European arrest warrant due to the cost.

So where does that leave residents of Lanzarote? We know that a man from Essex is a sex offender and living amongst us but we can’t be told his name and the UK don’t want to pay to take him back.
