Following a couple of giant clearance sales earlier last year the Gangas discount store in Tias first opened its doors in July 2009 and has been a major success story ever since.
It constantly surprises island residents with its enormous number of lines and up to date products.
We are delighted at Lanzarote information to welcome Gangas as an advertiser as this means we will get up to date information on what’s new and on offer in the store.
There are some phenomenal new things going on at the moment and I caught up with the boss himself Paul Gilkes to have a quick chat about their new ideas.

There has been a huge amount of work in the background to get this ready for launch on May 30th, Canaries day here in the Islands. Paul told me from May 30th in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura you will be able to buy on line at www.gangasextra.com
This unique online store will allow you to buy the latest products as they arrive and even in some cases before they are seen in store. Gangas’ huge Arrecife warehouse is getting ready now for the onslaught. You may think you have seen online shopping before but not quite like the Gangas Extra “My Price” offers.
We are all going to have to log on during launch day to see exactly how this will work out.
My Price
You can at any time pay the “buy it now” price however you can also register on the site and buy “My Price” credits which enable you to view a new lower price on every item.
Just click the icon to view the guaranteed lower price and from then on the clock is ticking as you have 10 seconds to confirm your purchase. When there are other shoppers on line at the same time the price will drop further until stocks are gone!
Register early on the site to receive two free “My Price” reveal credits.
The website has secure payment processing backed by La Caixa bank, with payment by PayPal and all major credit cards and is also available in English, Spanish and German languages.
I was amazed at this high tech site coming to Lanzarote and so Paul explained to me how he gets the ideas and relies on Tony to help make them happen and the rest of the staff to implement them and keep up to speed with new developments.

Add the Gangas Extra website to your favourites, at the moment you can’t enter the site, you can only see the front page. On Sunday 30th May 2010 revisit the website and register online, the first 500 people will receive 2 “My Price” credits and then you can browse and buy the online bargains.
