This guide will be updated daily throughout the month of December as new events and festive programmes from the councils and shopping centres are confirmed.

2 December: Navidad con luz propia
The Marina Lanzarote shopping centre will be switching on their Christmas lights at 19:30 on the 2nd December 2016. The event will have a street procession including batacada drum group Woman Batuca and jugglers.
3 December: Tías Belén Inauguration
The traditional Portal de Belén (nativity model) will be officially opened in Tías on Saturday 3rd December at 19:00. It’s situated in the Plaza de la Iglesia de San Antonio. The choir Coral Marina de Puerto del Carmen will be performing.
3, 10, 17 & 24 December: Descubre la casa de Papá Noel
The Biosfera shopping centre in Puerto del Carmen have an event to discover the house of Father Christmas at 18:30 on the 3rd, 10th & 17th December as well as 11:30 on Christmas Eve.
4 December: Christmas Fair
The Niños de Tercer charity are holding their annual Christmas Fair on Sunday 4th December at the Sociedad in Mácher. There will be a variety of stalls from 11:00 - 15:00.
13, 15, 18 December & 4 January: Conciertos de Navidad
The Polifonica San Ginés choir have a series of concerts for Christmas. Starting with the church in Valterra on Tuesday 13th December at 20:00, followed by the church in Altavista on Thursday 15th December at 19:30, and the church in San Ginés on Sunday 18th December at 12:30. Additional an event on the 4th January at 19:30.
15 December: Kennel Klub Kristmas Kracker
The Kennel Club, a charity who help abandoned dogs in Lanzarote are holding their Christmas Fracker event at the Music Hall Tavern in Puerto del Carmen on Thursday 15th December at 19:00. Tickets cost €25 per person and include a 3 course meal with the show.
16-17 December: LADS Christmas Party
Lanzarote Amateur Dramatic Society invite you to their party at the Lively Lady Show Bar in Costa Teguise. Enjoy an evening of Christmas themed entertainment from 19:00 priced at €7.50 adults and €5 for under 12’s.
16-18 December: Feria Artesanal Navidad
Christmas craft fair in La Villa de Teguise from the 16-18th December, situated in the Plaza de la constitución from 11:00 to 21:00.
17 December: Tekker Xmas Fair
The 5th annual Xmas Fair in aid of breast cancer will be held at Tekkers in Costa Teguise on Saturday 17th December from 19:00.
17 December: Un Cuento de Navidad
A Christmas story will be presented by Comi-K-Teatro in the Parque de Argana Alta in Arecife on Saturday 17th December at 19:00, free entry.
18 December: 9 Lessons & Carol Service
There will be a traditional 9 Lessons & Carols Service to be held at Lanzarote Christian Fellowship in Tias on Sunday, December 18th at 11.00am. All are welcome. 18 December - 6 January: Santa Sailings Catlanza
Book a Catlanza excursion to go sailing with Santa in Lanzarote. Santa will be making an appearance on all family sailings from the 18th December to 6th January. Tel: 928 5136 022 to book.
19 December: Carol Concert
The Christmas Voices will be performing at the church in Teseguite at 18:00 on Monday 19th December. Entrance is free but donations for Calor y Café who support the homeless in Lanzarote would be gratefully received.
20 December: Carol Concert
The Christmas Voices will be performing at the Nuestra Señora church in the harbour area of Puerto del Carmen at 18:00 on Tuesday 20th December. Entrance is free but donations for Calor y Café who support the homeless in Lanzarote would be gratefully received.
21 December: Carol Concert
The Christmas Voices will be performing at the Nuestra Señora church in the centre of Playa Blanca at 16:00 on Wednesday 21st December. Entrance is free but donations for Calor y Café who support the homeless in Lanzarote would be gratefully received.
21 December: Sobre la Navidad
A Christmas dance and music event at the Teatro El Salinero in Arrecife at 18:30 on the 21st December, in collaboration with the students and teachers from the CIEM. Tickets can be collected free of charge from the box office an hour before the start.
22 December: Concierto de Navidad
Free Christmas Concert at the Teatro El Salinero in Arrecife on Thursday 22nd December at 19:00 with a performance from the CIEM. Tickets available to collect from the ticket office an hour before the concert.
23 December: Santa Parade
The Santa Parade in Puerto del Carmen is on the 23rd December with a start time from 17:00. The procession will depart from Avenida Italia travelling along the Avenida de Las Playas to the Plaza del Varadero in the old town harbour area.
23 December: Noche de Magia y Anticuentos
A night of magic and stories is at the Palacio Spinola in La Villa de Teguise on Friday 23rd December at 20:00, free entry.
23 December: Gala de Navidad
Christmas Gala at the Centro Cívico in Arrecife on Friday 23rd December at 19:00 with children from CEIP Playa Honda, the British School of Lanzarote and Asociación Amibaila.
24 December: Christmas Eve
31 December: XVI Carrera San Silvestre Conejera Puerto del Carmen
The San Silvestre is a traditional run held on New Year’s Eve in Spain. Kids race at 16:00 and Adults at 17:00 from the Plaza de las Naciones (by Playa Los Pocillos) in Puerto del Carmen.
31 December: New Year’s Eve Party & Firework Display Puerto del Carmen
The firework display will be at 1am in Puerto del Carmen to celebrate the New Year. The Fiesta Fin de Año party starts on the Avenida de Las Playas at 23:30.
31 December: New Year’s Eve Party & Firework Display Teguise
The New Year’s Party will be held in the Plaza de la Constitution by Los Leones (two lions) starting at 23:30 with entertainment by the Sintonía Show.
31 December: New Year’s Eve Party Playa Blanca
New Year's Party Plaza del Carmen in Playa Blanca 00:15 hours, after the tolling of the bells. Performance of the Grupo LD from Tenerife to welcome the year 2017.

2-4 January: MalabHaría Circus Festival
MalabHaría is a popular circus festival held in Haria in the north of Lanzarote. These performers wow the crowds with a variety of circus acts over 3 days, which co-incides with a second hand market in the plaza.
Monday 2nd January: From 16:30 to 20:00 Christmas Flea Market in the Square. 18:00 Concert in the Square. 20:30 “Elegants” Show. Pabellón de Haría.
Tuesday 3rd January: From 16:30 to 20:00 Christmas Flea Market in the Square. 18:00 Concert in the Square. 20:30 Circus Gala in the Pabellón de Haría.
Wednesday 4th January: From 16:30 to 20:00 Christmas Flea Market in the Square. 17:30 Circus Show in the Square. 18:30 Visit of Your Majesties the Three Wise Men to collect the letters at the C.S.C. La Tegala in Haría. 20:30 Circus Gala in the Pabellón.
4 January: Cabalgata de Reyes
19:00 Parade of Your Majesties the Three Wise Men in Playa Honda departing from the Explanada de Guacimeta going through Calles Mástil and San Borondón to finish up in Calle Mayor (Outdoors Shopping Area)
5 January: Cabalgata de Reyes
Kings processions are held throughout the seven municipalities of Lanzarote, we will confirm where and when you can find Melchor, Gaspar & Baltasar riding camels once the festive programmes have been published.
12:30 Los Reyes Magos de Oriente will arrive by boat at Marina Lanzarote in Arrecife to collect their letters.
15:45 Route through the villages of the municipality of Your Majesties the Three Wise Men, departing from Charco del Palo.
16.30 The Three Wise Men Parade in La Graciosa.
17:00 Grand parade of Your Majesties the Three Wise Men in the municipality of Tinajo. Departure from the Fútbol Pitch to San Roque's Square.
17:00 Three Wise Men Parade in Yaiza. Your Majesties will be accompanied by the Municipal Ban, Yaiza's Comparsa, people in stilts, jugglers and children's characters. Departure from the Galería de Arte passing through Calle Vista finishing up with a big party in Plaza de Los Remedios.
18:00 Cabalgata de Majestades los Reyes Magos de Oriente in Tías. Departing from Restaurante Las Viñas along the Avenida Central and Calle Libertad to the Pabellón Municipal.
18:00 The Kings Procession in Arrecife, departing from Recinto Ferial finishing up at the Puente de Las Bolas with a teather performance at the entrance of the dock.
19:00 Grand parade of the Three Wise Men, with representation of the house of Herod and giving away of gifts in the plaza de Haría.
19:00 Parade of Your Majesties the Three Wise Men in San Bartolomé departing from the IES San Bartolomé going through the Avenida Alcalde Antonio Cabrera Barrera and Calle Rubicón to finish up in Parque Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente.
19:00 Parade of the Three Wise Men in Playa Blanca accompanied by Batucada Villa Pipol, Yaiza's Comparsa, people in stilts, jugglers and children's characters. Departure from the Centra Bus Station going along Calle Jaime Quesada and Avenida Papagayo finishing up in the Plaza del Carmen.
19.00 The Three Wise Men Parade. Historical Centre of Teguise with entertainment groups.
19:30 Cabalgata de Reyes in Puerto del Carmen. Departing from the Biosfera shopping centre passing through the old town to the Plaza del Varadero to collect letters from the children, before continuing along the Avenida de Las Playas.
