The programme of forthcoming events from the Camel House Concerts in Lanzarote is currently scheduled as the following for the remainder of 2011. This year the Camel House has partnered with Bodegas Stratvs to showcase these talented artists from two locations in Lanzarote. June 2011 – The Young Musicians (piano, trombone & violin)
The young musicians are Yuanfan Yang (piano), Nicholas Oliver (piano), Callum Smart (violin) and Peter Moore (trombone). Friday 24th June – Stratvs Concert For the Stratvs concert on Friday 24th June Yuanfan Yang (piano) will perform in the first half, then after the interval Nicholas Oliver (piano) will accompany both Callum Smart (violin) and Peter Moore (trombone). In this concert Peter Moore will perform a larger recital on the trombone, and there will be further solos from Nicholas and Callum. Saturday 25th June – Camel House Concert At the Camel House concert on Saturday 25th June Yuanfan Yang will perform in the first half, then after the interval Nicholas Oliver will accompany both Callum Smart and Peter Moore . The first half will begin with Peter playing quiet pieces on the trombone, then finish with Callum playing his violin. Yuanfan Yang’s programme will include: Beethoven Sonata in C op. 2 no. 3 Schumann Fantasy Pieces op 12 Debussy Selection from Preludes Chopin Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise Brilliante. Peter's programme will include pieces by Weber, Stjepan Sulek, Richard Peaslee and Joseph Jongen. Callum's programme will include pieces by Brahms, Beethoven, Wieniawski and Ysaye. Jennifer (violin) and Jeremy Pike (piano) combine artistic forces with pianist Arsha Kaviani to present what will undoubtedly be 2 concerts that showcase the talents of these young musical prodigies. Jennifer and Jeremy will perform one half of each concert whilst Arsha will perform the other. 29th October – Stratvs Concert Jennifer & Jeremy’s programme will include Debussy, Sarasate, Kreisler and Gershwin. Arsha’s programme will include Scriabin, Brahms, Feinberg, Kaviani, Medtner, Godowsky and Chopin. 30th October – Camel House Concert Jennifer & Jeremy’s programme will include Debussy, Sarasate, Kreisler and Gershwin. Arsha’s programme will include Scriabin, Brahms, Feinberg, Kaviani, Medtner, Godowsky and Chopin.
