The Café La Molina stretches from the front bar area through the building to the back gallery offering a wide range of seating. There was a delicious smell of roasting chicken and the chef took great delight in opening the traditional oven in the courtyard to show us the chickens cooking on a tray inside, a different method from the asaderos that normally have a rotisserie. We had only stopped for coffee and a piece of cinnamon cake but there was a full range of tapas available as well as pizzas and all to eat in or take away (telephone 648 059 026). Off the courtyard or from a separate front entrance there was a delightful shop that had several rooms offering children's and ladies clothes, household goods, interesting furniture, pictures and lots more. At the back of the building was a lovely room that stretched the width of the property with an artist painting at one end and tables to sit and order from the Café. This was a great place to stop for a coffee or to stretch your legs if exploring the island, the building has been sympathetically refurbished keeping lots of the old features including the interior workings of the mill.
