A new café bar has recently opened in Costa Teguise.
Jointly run by Paula and Haley, La Fuente is a new family centered café bar in Costa Teguise.
On the site of the previously popular Coffee and Cream, La Fuente has been re named in honour of the fountain gardens just in front of it.
It is located in CC Los Charcos which is a small pedestrian square which opens out directly from the main Avenida, opposite the Post Office. The local police office and doctors surgery are also located here so plenty of local passing trade call into La Fuente for morning coffee and pastries.
The open terrace enjoys all day sun with a wide pergola for sitting in the shade. Cool sangria is made daily and a large beer is only 1.50€
The café is popular with families of all ages, the safe square means toddlers and under 10’s can play safely and the wifi access means our technological teens can keep connected with their iPods and netbooks!
The wifi access is increasingly popular with all holiday makers as it is handy to check in on e-mails and messages even when on holiday. Flight times and confirmations can also be easily checked here.
La Fuente is open each day from 8.30am right through until around 10pm. Early closing is only on Tuesday when they close at 2pm.
Their menu again has family appeal with delicious breakfast starting at only 2€ and toasties, baguettes burgers and snacks from 1.50€. There are also a range of tasty tapas on offer, which vary daily.
Evening meals start at 6pm and the menu is very varied and at a great price with most meals coming in from 5.00€ - 6.50€. A children’s menu is priced at 4.50€ which includes a drink and ice cream.
