The big game fishing season is here! Puerto Calero have just had the sportfishing competition Concurso de Pesca de Altura and the Marlin Cup will be held in Marina Rubicón later this week.
If you would like to go sea fishing in Lanzarote you can choose to either book a place within a group or hire the boat exclusively according to your budget or occassion. We recommend Pablo from Lanzarote Fishing for sea fishing excursions from Puerto Calero, he has a Striker 38 fishing boat called Tono moored in the marina there.
Tono can take up to 10 passengers plus two crew members, the boat can be hired for €100 per hour for a minimum of two hours. Included in the price is fishing tackle, fishing licence, insurance and a snack of ham and cheese sandwich and a beer or coke and water. It is possible to also take a non fishing companion out on the boat although not more than one per fisherman.
