Maestro Music Management have announced four new concerts for Lanzarote from September through to December 2011.

Piano Extravaganza!

Saturday 10th September – Puerto Calero Marina

An extraordinary Piano Extravaganza is planned, when onstage there will be not only one piano, but two - and not only one pianist, but four! This unique evening will feature the renowned piano duo, Joseph Tong and Waka Hasegawa, alongside Robin Colvill, one of the UK’s best-known chamber pianists, as well as a guest local pianist from Lanzarote.

Friday 7th October – Convento de Santo Domingo, Teguise

Saturday 8th October – Puerto Calero Marina

Sunday 9th October – Princesa Yaiza Hotel, Playa Blanca

This exciting swinging show-band will perform jazz, swing and Rat Pack favourites. Having quickly established themselves as one of the most in-demand acts in the UK, Maestro MM is pleased to be able to introduce the act to audiences in Lanzarote.

The Mandolinquents

Friday 25th November – Amura Restaurante, Puerto Calero

Saturday 26th November – Cueva de los Verdes (Special Children’s Concert), Haría

Britain’s first modern mandolin quartet perform with mandolins of all shapes and sizes, guitars, banjos and the superb voice and mandobass of Hilary James. The quartet’s humour and infectious fun influence everything they play, from lively reels to traditional airs, hot swing and ragtime.

Please note that The Mandolinquents concert has now been replaced by Baritone in Love.

Christmas Chamber Concert

Friday 9th December – Amura Restaurante, Puerto Calero

Sunday 11th December – Convento de Santo Domingo, Teguise

The final concert of the Autumn season will be a blend of classical and Christmas music.The Aros String Quartet will be joined by piano and voice for a delightful Chamber Concert for Christmas. The evening’s programme will include music from Borodin, Puccini, Tchaikovsky, Johann Strauss as well as Latin American Tangos.

These four very different, yet equally entertaining, evenings showcase the range of music and artists that Maestro Music Management represent. Keen to introduce a varied repertoire for the diverse Lanzarote audiences, Maestro MM hope to provide something that will entertain and enlighten all tastes! Each evening’s entertainment starts at 7.30pm with local musicians enjoying a Jam Session, whilst the main concert commences at 8pm.

Concert ticket prices are €15, €20 & €25 per person. Additionally there are special dinner tickets available for a 3 course meal at the Amura restaurant in Puerto Calero, concert goers will be able to enjoy this special menu after the performance for €30 per person. There are a choice of three starters, main course and desserts with a glass of cava and coffee included.
