Lanzarote Information

The sweltering heat from the end of July dropped to a more manageable average 30 degrees during the first week of August and the wind was significantly cooler.

We did have a problem of cloudy mornings during the second week of August and can only blame that on the successful romería to Ermita de las Nieves which was celebrated on the 5th of August to pray for rain and natural water for the island. The temperatures were still reaching 30 degrees but feeling muggy because of the clouds.

The remainder of the month passed generally with cloudy mornings on the inland areas but clear on the coast, warm with a light breeze.
