Alegranza Boat Excursion

The Lanzarote Active Club offer a fantastic opportunity to take a boat excursion in the Marine Reserve off the north coast of Lanzarote.

Marine Reserve Lanzarote

There’s an excursion this Wednesday, groups are limited to around 20 places, and there’s no-one else offering this kind of a boat trip on the island.

Departing from the harbour at Órzola at 09:30 the boat will head out to circumnavigate the uninhabited island of Alegranza, which has an abundance of birdlife. During this crossing it’s possible to see flying fish, turtles, dolphins and whales.

After Alegranza, the boat will pass by Montaña Clara before stopping at the tiny village of Pedro Barba on La Graciosa where you will have an opportunity to take a break. There’s a choice of a walk or Landrover ride to Caleta de Sebo where a typical menu del día Canarian lunch is provided.

There’s usually a bit of free time to explore the main harbour area, town and beach before catching the 17:00 ferry back to Órzola.

Prices including transfers from holiday resorts are €79 for adults and €59 for children. If you have your own transport to Órzola, the price is discounted by €5 per person, to €74 per adult and €54 per child.

This really is a great day out in Lanzarote, we’ve joined the Lanzarote Active Club on several of these trips, and have been rewarded with pilot whales, turtles, Eleanora’s Falcons, and flying fish.
