About @JulieCJ

Thanks for clicking through from Twitter to find out a bit more about me.

I tweet as @JulieCJ, I'm also known as Jules, the girl behind this website Lanzarote Information which is the biggest English language publication in Lanzarote.

I originally lived in Cheshire before relocating to Lanzarote, I'm married to Mike and have two children aged 26 & 23, not forgetting my dog Louie who is a Huskie / Alsation x we rescued from SARA the local animal shelter.

I became a full time blogger in 2008 having created our destination blog about Lanzarote, the website has grown tremendously with more than 6,000 articles of information about the island. We post between 3 to 6 articles everyday so you can be sure you will know what's on, where to go and what to do. Lanzarote Information embraced social media and has a good following, you can tweet us @LanzaInfo, follow our Facebook page LanzaroteInformation, watch our videos on our YouTube channel Lanzarote Information & connect with us on Google+.

If you would like any help about Lanzarote then you've come to the right place, please don't hesitate to ask me anything. I especially love helping people to book their holidays here, I'm an ABTA, ATOL & IATA approved holiday expert offering packages from the UK & Ireland, so please don't hesitate to send me your travel enquiries.

Travel Agent

There's nothing more rewarding than booking travel for my clients, I'm almost as excited as they are, to have found the right holiday or honeymoon for them. I'm an expert on Lanzarote and the Canary Islands and this knowledge was what first led me to become an agent, over the last few years, my clients and knowledge has increased to cover worldwide destinations. Our travel blog Camel Travel and Facebook page is a blend of our own travel adventures, destination advice and travel offers designed to inspire others to embark on some affordable luxury travel too.

2014 was a great year, I completed my first long distance Ironman triathlon in May along with my hubby. This wasn't just any Ironman, it had to be Lanzarote which is renowned for being one of the toughest. The support on race day was amazing, we just loved the experience, and really appreciated the guidance and support from our coach Bella Bayliss.

Social Media

For all of our brands, we haven't enlisted the help of traditional advertising methods, our success is purely down to our work on Social Media.
