The Lanzarote charity 9 Lives was set up to improve conditions for feral cats living in the holiday complexes around the island of Lanzarote. The charity’s main priority is to set up cat cafés to care for the wild cats as well as their neuter and spay programme to reduce the number of unwanted kittens.
A Whacky Fun Night has been arranged for Monday 30th August 2010 to raise fund for the next neutering and campaign scheduled to take place in November. The event will be at Legends Karaoke & Wine Bar in C.C. Punta Limones, Playa Blanca and the fun starts at 6pm. Tickets have been priced at €5 and include a buffet. Expect whacky games such as pin the tail on the cat and deal or no deal together with a kiddies disco and karaoke.
