New 70.3 event for Lanzarote announced today!
The news was just published on the Ironman Lanzarote Canarias Triathlon Spain Facebook page. Entries for Ironman Lanzarote 2012 to be held on the 19th May 2012 will open on the 24th May 2011 which is the Tuesday after the Ironman Lanzarote 2011 race day, as well as entries for the first 70.3 Lanzarote event. The new 70.3 will be held on 10th November 2012. For those of you asking "What is a 70.3?" This relates to the distance of the triathlon which is a half Ironman distance of swim 1.9 km / 1.2 miles, bike 90 km / 56 miles and run 21.1km / 13.1 miles - the miles total 70.3. |
