Nao are located in a small unit in the Puerto Naos area of Arrecife. They have state of the art facilities for the actual brewing and temperature controlled storage, although I was intrigued that every single bottle is closed by hand with a single machine.  read more »

Recently on a Friday evening I called into the Mucky Duck Bar & Restaurant in Puerto del Carmen for some food to be greeted with a brand new pie menu, additionally to their regular menu. Yes, you heard it right, a whole menu of a choice of 20 different homemade pies!  The fillings include chicken, beef, lamb, fish, haggis, Guinness... to name a few.

Himalaya Restaurant Puerto del Carmen

The restaurant offers Nepali and Indian cuisine, and we decided to give it a go for an early evening meal.

The menu has the usual suspects you would find on any Indian restaurant menu, so rest assured if you want a Chicken Tikka Masala, you can get one.

But we were interested to try some of the Nepali cuisine for our main courses, and we weren’t disappointed.  read more »
