British Airways Lanzarote 2013

British Airways returned to Lanzarote on Sunday 31st March inaugurating their new connection from London Gatwick to Arrecife for summer 2013.

easyJet Change To Allocated Seating

The budget airline easyJet have announced they will roll out allocated seating across their routes from November through the winter season.

The decision was made following passenger research and is part of the company’s aim to make travel easy and affordable. Seventy per cent of passengers who have trialled their allocated seating since April said that their boarding experience was improved and 60% of passengers revealed that they are more likely to travel with easyJet in the future with this style of boarding.

Moxie Republic Adventure Race & Sports Holiday in Lanzarote

A new event is coming to Lanzarote for adrenalin junkies in October. Moxie Republic have teamed up with Sands Beach to offer an sports holiday including a 65km race labelled as one of the hardest adventure races on the calendar for 2012.

The new Moxie Republic Adventure Race is expected to bring together sports enthusiasts from around the world, participants will be staying at the Sands Beach Resort in Costa Teguise from the 17th to 22nd October with race day on the 20th.

In the two days prior to the race, the itinerary includes Stand Up Paddle classes, a 10km trail run on the Thursday and a 40km bike ride on the Friday to prepare for race day. During the evenings there will be briefings on nutrition, hydration and the course from José Carlos Hernández and Nico Ward Muñoz.
